Kind Acts to People

The simple act of performing an act of kindness for someone with a need, asking for nothing in return except that the recipient do that same for someone else when they are able to do so, is the guiding principle of Paying it Forward. We started this over 17 years ago and along with our supporters we have performed countless kind acts globally. We spread kindness by:

1. Supporting individuals, families, schools, organizations and other groups through grants and donations.

2. Members and supporters of this foundation taking direct action to perform kind acts in the United States and throughout the world.

You can help by becoming a supporter, member, volunteer and by making a donation or a purchase from our online store. Please help us spread compassion and acts of kindness to those in need. You will find the act of giving returns to you much more than is provided to another.

I know this is an absolute Longshot but I don’t have anything else but faith. I’ve got a couple things going on right now. For starters I had to leave my place of employment due to my multiple sclerosis. My husband had lost his job due to taking me back and forth to my appointments as I had lost my license due to no longer being able to drive. I don’t have full functional legs, or arms. I was diagnosed 3 months ago and during that time I had to do a 5-day treatment of infusions. My husband had applied for FMLA, but he ended up pointing out prior to getting the approval. He has applied multiple jobs, and we are just not finding a place that will allow him to take me to my appointments and work. I am wishing that I could provide my for kids a Christmas. My husband and I were discussing about making it a memory this year. We wanted to take them somewhere. My doctor is expecting me to be in a wheelchair full-time within a year. I want to give them a good memory. I want them to remember the good times. As of right now my house is a very emotional and stressful place. My kids do not understand why this is happening to their mother. I have not made a GoFundMe accounts or any of that stuff, honestly I don’t even know how to do that. If anybody could make this wish come true, please email me. I can send over whatever medical documents you may need. thank you and God bless.
You have any questions My email is
I do not have a cell phone or house phone at the moment due to expenses.

It’s no secret, IVF treatment is expensive…VERY EXPENSIVE!! Currently Andy and I are undergoing treatement towards acheieving our dream – to have a child together. Unfortunately from the beginning of our journey we have had 3 miscarriages, 2 ectopic pregnancies, and 1 unsuccessful round of IVF. Those close to us know the struggles and heartaches we have had to endure through it all, but we remain hopeful that we will be blessed with a child!

This is where we are asking for your help in raising money so we can make our dream of a baby come true. In January we will be traveling to New York to undergo our second cycle of IVF. We’ll be there for a few weeks for treatment and won’t be working. So Every cent will help! This is a life we want deeply so we thank you in advance for any donations and passing this along to your friends and families!.

I can purchase parts here and there but I need more work than I bargain forand could really use help getting it in working condition. I can’t afford a car payment so fixing her up is my only option. I am a struggling divorced mother of three boys 14, 12, & 9. I’m suffering with daily panic attacks and PTSD from multiple domestic violent memories. I took off of work for medical leave for therapy. Upon my return they no longer needed my services. As I wait for my next opportunity, my friend passes away from brain cancer. He had such a good heart, making everyone feel a little bit better about themselves with a smile and ear to listen. He Left behind a 47 yo wife with two boys 12 & 14. I want to support her through this tragic hurdle. I am asking for donations or grants to help with the medical bills and alternative therapies that are needed to get through this battle. Thank you for you generosity.

Hello. I have recently received (and accepted) a friend request on Facebook from a young man who was my neighbor for over 40 years. In those 40 years, I could not tell you what his voice sounded like as I had never spoken with him. It was always a nod of the head to say hello. His parents never once walked by without saying hello to me or anyone else in my family. We were alway’s very friendly with the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz.
Having received this friend request I thought it was rather odd. I have since been conversing with him through FB but only by liking some of his posts as he is doing the same to mine. His father who I have learned has passed several years back was a fine musician and well known in the music world. I remember coming home in the early evenings and hearing the beautiful sound of the Trumpet echoing in the distance. That was Mr. Schwartz or his children playing in their apartment.

As I began to read through some of the posts he had been posting, I came to notice that he was in many photos with his mother whom I knew growing up as Mrs. Schwartz.
Many were cheek to cheek with two broad smiles. I asked how his mom is doing and to please send my regards. He responded that he will but that his mother was suffering from Alzheimer’s. I was so sad to hear this. This young man has a brother who growing up would converse with me and my family as opposed to his brother who never did. I have been told that he and his brother are no longer on speaking terms. As I continued to read through his posts I have come to learn that he has had several brain surgeries on his pituitary gland, has had a toe amputated and is a Liver Cancer survivor. He is now heading to Long Island daily for the next 5 1/2 weeks and will be getting another MRI to determine the course of action for radiation treatments to shrink the tumor as it is inoperable.
This gentleman is alone in East Elmhurst, NY and will have to take public transportation daily for 5 1/2 weeks to and from these treatments.
When I read this-this morning I just broke down trying to imagine what he must be going through. This gentleman can use all the help that is out there. He is alone with no one.

    Can we help?
    Thank you,
Here is the post I read this morning in his own words.

Good morning, today I’m going for an MRI yet again on my petuitary gland to determine the next course of action for my radis toon treatments. The likely scenario is that I will have to go for five and a half straight weeks daily for anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes a day. Very scary for sure especially when you consider I will have to go alone each day out to Lake success with public transportation. It will more than likely take a lot out of me and remember I’ll be alone for the entire ride. I’m going to need your prayers again my friends. I’ll let you know when I know how this is going to go. As bad as all those surgeries were, this could be worse in some ways cause it’s more time consuming and more costly and it just sucks! Please wish me luck and pray, pray, pray!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I don’t mind admitting this, I’m scared out of my mind!
    Thank you,

My husband was in a severe hit and run wreck, there were several news story’s about us and our family. We have a 3 year old son with down syndrome and our 2 year old son has brain damage due to a birth injury. My husband being the only one that can work since both our boys are not able to be put into daycare, has made this hit and run that took our transportation AND husband’s job that much harder. I’ve turned to my community, a advocate for victims of crimes, and Florida Highway patrol has yet to find the other driver. We’re on the verge of losing everything, and with no family to turn to I’m at a loss what to do. I’d be eternally grateful for any kinds of help or suggestions. God bless!

My wife and I have been down and out for quite some time. We have been homeless for over a year. Finally it looks like we may have somewhere to live. My wife is in a wheelchair and I need a cane to get around. We have been financially struggling. We were living in a van for over a year living in a parking lot. We still need so much. The place that we are moving into is going to take practically everything she has coming in for her disability. Both of us are retired firefighters and I’m a retired EMT. We have given too many Charities and have done many things for people. Unfortunately many have turned a blind eye to us. Our church that we have just become affiliated with has been a real blessing to us but we can’t expect them to do everything. I hate like heck to ask anything of anyone but we really need financial help. We need to find a vehicle that is going to accommodate us. This way I can at least rehabilitate and get back into shape and walking properly. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. This way we can get back on our feet and be able to continue to pay it forward. Thank you for reading this and God bless. Robert & AnneMarie Schemelia
