Kind Acts to People

The simple act of performing an act of kindness for someone with a need, asking for nothing in return except that the recipient do that same for someone else when they are able to do so, is the guiding principle of Paying it Forward. We started this over 17 years ago and along with our supporters we have performed countless kind acts globally. We spread kindness by:

1. Supporting individuals, families, schools, organizations and other groups through grants and donations.

2. Members and supporters of this foundation taking direct action to perform kind acts in the United States and throughout the world.

You can help by becoming a supporter, member, volunteer and by making a donation or a purchase from our online store. Please help us spread compassion and acts of kindness to those in need. You will find the act of giving returns to you much more than is provided to another.

Hi, I just recently moved to Phoenix Arizona.. I rented what I thought was a nice and affordable soon as I moved in the repairs and maintenance were as issue. I reported them but they were either ignored or done when I insisted. I finally withheld half of my rent after my toilet and air conditioning was not being fixed. I thought that the law allowed for this. Long story short, I went to court and lost. I was evicted from my apartment. Currently I am homeless. I am staying in a flithy place. I have health issues. I haven’t been able to eat properly and am getting sicker. My car doesn’t go in reverse and my tags are expired.. I don’t have any family members that can help. I am feeling hopeless.. I have never had an even on my record. I don’t have the funds to rent a place.. It cost me everything I had to be able to get my belongings out from the apartment and into a storage unit. They charged me storage fees for housing my own things. This Landlord has been unfair with many tenants. But knows that most people can’t afford an attorney to respresent them. If anyone can please help me out, I would appreciate it. I desperately need a place to live that is clean..I hope that I have explained myself clearly enough. It’s hard to, when you are confused and in shock about what has transpired in a 3 months period. If you have any questions, I can be reached at ( 602 ) 435-9216. If you can make even a small gift, my PayPal account is you. Nyurka Bell

Hi I’m having a hard time right now. I’m on dialysis and homeless. Well couch jumping I guess. Our car broke down. My son lost his job because of this. So we lost our home. I draw 800 a month disability and were paying that to people to stay with them and buy our own food. If someone could help me with deposits on a place and on the utilities. Maybe we could get a place and then get another car so my son can get another job. And I can get to dialysis. I really need some help please. My email is thanks for reading

Hi I’m in a bad place right now and not use to asking for help . I always said if I need it I will get it and if i can’t get it I don’t need it. But here I am asking . I support 3 people and 4 dogs and 2 cats all rescued . Can’t say no to a animal that’s hungry and homeless . I am disabled and only get 725.00 a month and now my 1980 trailer needs a roof and septic . Can anyone out there tell me how to fix this cheap but good? Please tell me how . Thank you and GOD Bless You

Being originally from Africa, these type of programs go a lot further than one could ever imagine. That doesn’t mean it has to be some grand ordeal, but just know that everything helps and no kind acts go unnoticed.

Until you spend some time outside of your normal situation, it’s hard to see what really is going on. I’d be happy to help volunteer, and my company may also be willing to donate.

I am writing to ask for assistance in regards to my family, I have a family of 4, my husband is disabled and has hemiplegic migraines amongst other things from a car accident. we make enough to pay bills and have food, but there is not much room for anything else, I don’t want to provide a sob story but that I would love to get my son a car for graduating this year and to be able to take my family on a awesome vacation before he ventures off on his own. thank you all.

God has led me to this organization which I was not aware of and "Pay it Forward is my favorite movie and motto BUT now I need help. We are about to loose our home which needs a lot of work but it is a roof over our heads. We need 3000.00 to keep our home and our power is to be cut off in a couple days as well as my husband has had 3 heart surgeries and we can not afford all his medications. There is very little food in the house and cold because we are unable to buy propane (we owe 307.00 on a past due bill and no propane) I am normally a person helping others but now I need help. Like I said I do not know how this works but can someone see it in their heart to at least get us out of this hole? I will continue to pray. My email is Some one please help

My name is Symphonie and I am a single mother. I am currently attending Clark College, majoring in biology. The new quarter starts on the 8th of January, and I am seriously in need of a working car. My car died on Christmas Eve and in spite of our best efforts, we have been unable to get it to start again. Unfortunately, considering we will even be paying our rent late this month, I can’t even afford to get parts for it or take it to anyone who could potentially fix it. I know it’s a lot to ask, but if anyone has a working vehicle that they are not using, please, please consider letting me know.

what I have done over the past 47 years was to take clothing to poor children in the Dominican Republic. Now it has become impossible to carry more than 50 pounds in your suitcase. So what I had started doing is sending boxes down there. In October I sent a box loaded with children’s clothing . Everything I picked up came from one of the StopNSwap events . It was wonderful to see how happy the children were to see what I had sent. A few weeks ago I went to another event in the Bronx hoping to send more clothing and toys. The clothing was in good condition;but the toys were too old and most likely would’ve broken soon after they were given out. I had intended to give out the toys soon after I arrived for Feast of Three Kings Day. even though my funds are limited(as I am retired and live on my retirement pay) I am going down there anyway. I had been asked to be godfather to a baptism of a baby by one of the young men who I have known since he was a child. Many years ago I brought clothing for him and his family. Perhaps there is one day of giving ;but mine continues throughout the year.I don’t stay in hotels; but with the families that I keep in touch with and keep helping through out the year.
